About The Artist:

Samuel Rampelt is a visual artist passionate about storytelling. He works in both traditional and digital illustration media—including pen and ink, watercolor, gouache, and digital software like Procreate, Photoshop, Blender, and digital animation software. Samuel’s artwork centers on drama and the conveyance of emotion and atmosphere. Samuel’s work has been exhibited at Woods Gerry Gallery (Providence RI), as well as published by the national candy chain, Grandpa Joe’s Candy Shop. Samuel has also worked as an art director and design head for Cornerstone magazine, a literary arts magazine at Brown/RISD. Samuel has a BFA in illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design with a minor in Art History and Theory. Samuel lives with his wife in Providence Rhode Island, where he enjoys drives to the coast and beautiful historic streets!
